St. Francis Children’s Center Honors Four Community Members at our Annual Leading Lights Awards Banquet MILWAUKEE – October 4, 2022 – St. Francis Children’s Center announces our 2022 Leading Lights Awards Banquet on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 5:30-8:30pm, in the Simone Ballroom of the Saint Kate Hotel. We will honor a new special group of outstanding community leaders while raising funds for the quality education and therapy services that we provide to hundreds of children with special needs in our community. This year’s recipients are as follows:

Cheryl & Blake Moret of Rockwell Automation will receive the Humanitarian Service Award.

Marcia & Moustapha Drame of Northwestern Mutual and Africa Alive LLC will accept the Community Service Award.

Cheryl received her BSN degree from Carroll-Columbia in 1987 and among her many accomplishments proudly served as an Army Reservist with the 1150th Transportation Company in Milwaukee. Blake has been Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Automation since 2016, which is the world’s largest company focused exclusively on industrial automation and information, dedicated to making its customers more productive and the world more sustainable.

Marcia, 1998 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, is a Senior Director – Competitive Intelligence at Northwestern Mutual (NM) leading a team to deliver and elevate the full scope of competitive research and analysis for Northwestern Mutual’s risk products- life insurance, annuities, disability income and long-term care insurance. Moustapha is the founder and owner of Africa Alive LLC, the parent company of the brand Shea du Mali, specializing in natural beauty products made of Shea butter, and Jolof Market, home for authentic and distinctive products handcrafted by African artisans.

“Blake and Cheryl Moret, and Moustapha and Marcia Drame embody our organization’s values of inclusion, integrity, and innovation,” explains Mara Duckens, Executive Director of St. Francis Children’s Center. “As we honor their work, we will also highlight the young heroes of St. Francis Children’s Center. Each year our Center serves over 1,000 young people, the majority of whom have special needs. They are the inspiration for all that we do.”
