Inclusion

Children with special needs and those who are typically developing build friendships that focus on their similarities rather than their differences. Through inclusion, children with special needs benefit from exposure to typically developing classmates who act as role models in all areas of development. And, typically developing children learn understanding, acceptance, compassion, empathy and teamwork from their friends with disabilities or developmental delays.

St. Francis Children’s Center is committed to providing inclusive programming through our Early Childhood Education program and Family Activity Center, so ALL children have the opportunity to grow, play and learn together.
