MILWAUKEE – April 13, 2021 – St. Francis Children’s Center (SFCC) will celebrate their 28th Annual Wine, Beer, & Chocolate Tasting with an in-person event on Saturday, May 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The fundraiser, presented by the Bavarian Bierhaus, will be held in the sponsor’s biergarten at Old Heidelberg Park in Glendale. All proceeds from the Wine, Beer & Chocolate Tasting will help to sustain and strengthen the nonprofit organization’s special education, therapy and support services for children with special needs or developmental delays in our community.
While the pandemic forced SFCC to turn the annual Wine, Beer & Chocolate Tasting into an online-only event in 2020, the nonprofit is excited to hold this year’s celebration in the Bavarian Bierhaus’ outdoor covered pavilion. Not only will the pavilion allow the event to continue regardless of weather conditions, but also it is large enough to accommodate 250-300 attendees with ample space for social distancing, if necessary. As in past years, the evening will feature samplings of fine wines, spirits and liqueurs, craft beers, ciders and an assortment of chocolate confections. Attendees will also enjoy live music from the 5 Card Studs, access to raffles, a wine pull, a silent auction and more! Guests have the opportunity to upgrade to VIP tickets and gain access to an exclusive VIP Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, with an extra hour of tastings and hot and cold appetizers from the Bavarian Bierhaus. All guests will be able to purchase desserts from vendors or other food and beverages from the Bavarian Bierhaus throughout the evening at an additional cost.
