Pediatric Therapy

At St. Francis Children’s Center children can receive treatment for a wide variety of pediatric issues that can affect their growth and development right here at St. Francis Children’s Center, in their classrooms or in their own homes. Because kids are most comfortable in familiar settings, they are typically more relaxed and able to focus on the activities the therapists have planned to help them reach their specific goals. There is no better way for a child to learn than to learn from a sibling or friend, and our inclusive classrooms and approach to therapy is evidence that our therapists and staff embrace this philosophy.

Each child we serve has a designated rehabilitation team of professionals from St. Francis Children’s Center assigned to him or her to provide developmentally appropriate occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy and/or early childhood education as needed. The team may consist of a Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Educator, Physician, Service Coordinator and a Psychologist. These specialists are sensitive to the unique needs of children and use therapeutic techniques to keep your child’s interest and focus.
