About The Program
St. Francis Children’s Center’s Early Intervention/Birth to Three Program fulfills a vital need in our community by providing special education, therapy and support for infants and toddlers with diagnosed disabilities or other delays in their development. Children can participate in this program within our classrooms, in their homes or in other natural environments in Milwaukee County.
Our classrooms provide an inclusive environment where children with disabilities benefit greatly from interaction with typically developing peers who act as role models for the development of social, motor and language skills.
When children receive our early intervention services in their homes or other community settings, our team of special education teachers, therapists and service coordinators demonstrate how family members, caregivers and other people in the child's life can take a proactive role in helping the child achieve their developmental goals.
